Dear ,

Spring is in the air! As the days begin to lengthen the work here on the land at Terranu begins to pick up. We want to give you a little peek into what is happening here and let you know that your perks are on the way!

With the crowdfunding money we were able to buy the first round of bare root trees which we are busy putting in the ground. These are mostly native hedgerow species, which are brilliant in providing the local fauna a source of food and shelter. We also are planting some larger trees as windbreaks and a small fruit orchard. In anticipation of setting up the market gardens we have been busily preparing the earth, pre-sowing seeds and the polytunnel has also finally arrived!

The last few weeks we have been busy securing the fence line and repairing and building gates, projects that need to happen before we can safely steward more animals on our land. This has also included planning how to protect our market garden from unwanted grazers (A vibrant population of deer and hare live in the woods around our land).

We are pleased to let you know that in the coming weeks we are sending off the tree certificates, the cutting boards and the songs!

For those of you that have chosen a stay at Terranu as a perk, please get in contact with us at your convenience to look at dates together (we are so happy to inform you that we are almost ready to start hosting you in a cosy wooden cabin!).

For those of you that have chosen to name a farm animal; we are excited to let you know we are waiting for our farm registration so we can steward more animals on our land. We will let you know when we are ready for names!
